| All beginnings are difficult., but not for Khaan! Although the young talented DJ from Cologne began his career at the tunrtables only two years ago, a NRW-clubscene without him is not to be thought of.
Next to many good contacts and a little fortune it is foremost his passion for electronic music and his ability, which cleared the way for getting a well-known artist. Most notably today it is very hard, for an upcoming DJ to play in good clubs.
Most newcomers have to stay in the back room for a long time, until they get the chance to heat things up at the bigger turntables.
Soon his first official booking in Cologne followed. An open air event which became a huge success. What he did not know was, that there would be much more occasionsand events, where he could prove his skills, talent and intuition for music. The guys from 'Most Wanted Media', who amongst others dominate the house scene in town, soonkept an eye on Khaan and made him the resident of Cologne's famous After Hour „Breakfast Beats“ at the Teatro.
Very often the crowd was pleased by his sounds and great party athmosphereat well-known clubs in Cologne, such as Nachtflug, Diamonds, El Divino, Bootshaus etc. Also he presentates his firm sets, from Minimal Techno to Minimal House, isochronously in Düsseldorf’s HOME14.
There he’s playing next to famous DJ’s such as Funk D’Void, Gus Gus or Martin Landsky. His spontanous perfomance at the Kiesgrube (Tribehouse) in summer 2006 is unforgettable. Togehter with Tobi Neumann and Andry Nalin he delightet the party-people with impellent beats.
So without any question Khaan’s one of THE newcomers of the year. By the way – since half a year he is working on a production, of which some will be released 2007 and are to become a freshening wind in the record industrie.
At the moment Khaan works on his first Remix-assignment for a famous Hungarian
Deep House project. The minimal mix will be released 2007.
Without question one can be thrilled, with which racy speed the career of this sympathetic guy from Cologne will continue. It is safe to say one will see the name of this ambitious artist on flyer’s of clubs worldwide very soon. |
